Alex Delmar, a Stamford native, graduate of Stamford Public Schools, and current resident of the city, first began learning about real estate at her mother's knee (Ulli Delmar is an icon of Stamford residential real estate marketing). Alex continues to take advantage of education opportunities in order to stay on top of best practices in technology, marketing, and business strategies. A licensed agent and member of the National Association of Realtors and the Stamford Board of Realtors, Alex works as part of the team known as The Delmar Group, led by Ken & Ulli Delmar. Alex specializes in the Stamford and Norwalk markets, and the Delmar Group as a whole covers all of lower Fairfield County, including Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Westport & Fairfield, with a special focus on coastal properties. Alex's varied work history has enabled her to developed skills that help spell success for her and satisfaction for her real estate clients. A stint at a Hollywood talent agency taught her tough negotiating skills and tenacity, while years as a social worker running a program for families referred through juvenile probation taught her to be solution-oriented, to help people maneuver through stressful situations, and to advocate positively for her clients without alienating anyone involved.
